Head Coach Whyte Ogbonda has officially released a 25-player provisional squad for Bayelsa Queens FC as they gear up for the 5th edition of the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B Championship, set to take place in Côte d’Ivoire from Saturday, August 9 to Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Topping the list are key players Captain Blessing Ilivieda and stalwart defender Jennifer Oliver, both instrumental to the defensive strength of the Prosperity Girls. Their inclusion highlights the team’s intent to reclaim continental glory, having famously won the tournament’s second edition in 2022.
